Measurement portfolio samples

Today for numeracy we completed a sample for numeracy for our portfolios. Mrs McLeod created a template on explain everything and sent it to our Drives. We then opened it in explain everything and completed the practical measuring task and took photos as we went. We then took a screen shot of our work and air dropped it to Mrs McLeod so she could print it for our portfolios.

Stickman came to a Room 7

This morning a man stopped Ms McLeod in the car park and said he was a gardener and that he had found a stick insect and was wonderng if the kids would like to look at him. We were all really excited to see the new member of a Room 7! " who made him?- Jade "how did you stick the eyes on?"- Jade "it looks like a dancing stick"- Indiana.
We did a mini investigation on stick insects and went online to find out more about them. We decided to eat him free and found a nice new home for him! Jacob was super brave and got the insect out and put him in his new home!

Holiday homework

Over Easter one of the homework tasks the class had to complete was to design a game to play. Kelli designed a great Maths game that we put out on our maths stations for the week! Everyone really enjoyed it, even if some were a little TOO competitive!
